I keep getting the same error message when trying to connect my bank and to try again later. Error code 580

I haven't seen any open cases the same as yours, lcropper84-gmail. You may be experiencing some web issues. Let me help you get past the error. 

 

Let's start with signing into your account through a private browser. It's the best place to identify browser hiccups. Here are the shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N 
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

If you can connect your bank using the private browsing session, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache to refresh the program. We advise our customers to delete them now and then. It will help us avoid and fix connectivity issues.

 

Also, you can use a different browser to narrow down the issue.

 

Once your account is connected, you can already categorise transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
