Upgrade Quickbooks 2014 to Quickbooks 2023

Hello Vib2, thanks for posting on the Community page, What country are you in, as the UK doesn’t have a 2023 file, are you may be in the US and using the US desktop version perhaps?

If you choose to stay with QB Desktop, you can purchase a new license of QB Desktop 2023 US version directly to Intuit or through partners without a credit card. Another option, purchase a 3rd party service to convert your data to  QBO South African version.

Does this mean I wont lose any of my previous data?

What happened is we are trying out QBO but it gets confusing by the day and no one is happy with it hence m considering upgrading to the latest version of desktop and ditch this online completely. When we started using the QBO, it was like starting all over again, only a few data migrated. Its been very frustrating. Been reading reviews on QBO seems like most people are in the same predicament.

 Hello Vib2, So there is no desktop in south Africa and if you are in south Africa, you would need to purchase our QuickBooks online south Africa version. Please do not listen to Fiat Lux and his suggestion as you wouldn't be able to open the file in the US version of DT a countries company file can only be opened in the country it was created in so UK-UK US-US you cannot create a US version one and use it in south Africa.

We can convert data from QB Desktop UK version to QB Desktop US version. We can downgrade data from QB Desktop Enterprise to QB Desktop Pro/Premier. We can convert data from QB Desktop UK to QBO South Africa version. Are you saying that we are simply providing false information here?
