I still use Quickbooks Pro 2013 desktop version.....it just works for me.
I recently installed it on a new laptop and I need to enter a validation code and customer number.
I have chatted and phoned support and they were vague about supplying it.
Is this still something that can be supplied as if not how can I access my accounts?

QuickBooks Desktop and QBDT support was discontinued in the UK in June 2023; however, we can still provide validation codes for existing licenses.
Please contact our support team directly to open a request, as we will need to confirm some account specific information (full name, email address, license number and contact no.). The code will then be sent to you by email within 7 - 10 business days.
You can contact our UK team by phone on 0808 234 5337 (8 AM to 7 PM, Monday to Friday) or on live messaging (8.00 AM - 10.00 PM Monday to Friday, 8.00 AM - 6.00 PM Saturday & Sunday).

The requests are usually processed faster than this, but we're unable to speed up the process as it is managed on a queue-basis.

I saw your post in US community. Do you have QB Desktop US version or UK version?
UK version
As I know they have disbanded the QB Desktop UK team. You may consider looking for a newer (reused) version or the trial version as a workaround.
