I know how important it is to track your downloaded PayPal fees in QuickBooks Online (QBO), martin45.
But I'm here to route you to the right support on how to take care of this issue.
There's an ongoing investigation about the missing PayPal fees in the program. Please know that our product developers are currently working to have a permanent resolution.
As a workaround, you'll have to download transactions from your bank using a CSV file. Then, manually upload the file into QBO.
In line with this, I suggest contacting our Customer Care Team. They can add your account to the notification list. This way, you'll receive email updates about the investigation (INV-42500) and its status. Let me guide you how.
- Go to the Help menu at the upper right.
- Select Contact Us.
- Enter No Paypal Fees Showing After Manually Updating The Account in the What can we help you with? box.
- Click Let's talk.
- Choose a way to connect with a support agent.
See the screenshot below to show you the third to fourth steps.

Once fixed, let's go to the For Review tab to check if there are duplicate transactions since you've uploaded a CSV file. If there are any, I recommend excluding them.
However, if there are no duplicates, you can continue editing, assigning, and categorising your PayPal transactions. This ensures your financial records are accurate. To learn more about this process, visit this article: Categorise Bank Transactions.
