Since updating the connection to Paypal it is not bring through charges only payments received!

You can manually import the transaction in PayPal, maisonwhite.

 

Let me show you how to import transaction.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Login to your QuickBooks Online company
  2. Click Apps from the left menu.
  3. Select My Apps at the top.
  4. Find the Sync with PayPal app card.
  5. Choose Settings on the Sync with PayPal app card.
  6. A new tab opens.
  7. Click Run in the Manual Import section. Enter the desired date range then select Run.

Hi , I have the same issue.....

Been using the Paypal bank feed for months and my Paypal account is my main source of income with numerous transactions per day coming though including fee transactions. Since February 14th with a number of connection issues i now only receive my deposit transactions when i update the bank feed. The only work around is to manually add them with csv files.... a nightmare . This has been the simplest easy way to do my accounting as it always synced fee transactions with Paypal correctly and accurately....

 

I hope this gets a fix from technical soon

I don't expect to have to manually import transactions, why can't it work as before???  I can see from other threads on the subject of banking and Paypal that this is another problem caused by QB not testing their updates and hence causing users an unecessary waste in time.  Everyday that goes by I have several issues in reconciling transactions that do not get dowloaded or duplicated. Not good QB and not so QUICK at solving support issues.

I don't expect to have to manually import transactions, why can't it work as before???  I can see from other threads on the subject of banking and Paypal that this is another problem caused by QB not testing their updates and hence causing users an unecessary waste in time.  Everyday that goes by I have several issues in reconciling transactions that do not get dowloaded or duplicated. Not good QB and not so QUICK at solving support issues.

This isn't the impression we want to leave with you. This problem has already been escalated to our product engineers in which they are diligently working for a fix. That said, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Customer Support. An agent will add you to the list of affected users and sign you up to receive updates as soon as they become available. To expedite the process, please refer the agent to INV-42500, which is the ticket number used for tracking.

The status of the investigation is still On Progress. Our Engineers are working diligently to have this issue fixed as soon as possible.

It's just got alot worse, now it brings through a default action as TRANSFER and I can do nothing with it.  Come on QB SORT THIS OUT!!

What on earth does "CC Payment" mean, never seen that one before, when you select it you get "Try again with a bank account."  The engineers here are like a chocolate teapot!!  It's been long enough Fix it now please, we are trying to run a buisness not be bogged down with all this!!!

There is still no news regarding a fix from support for the last three weeks , i have been manually importing a .csv file each week to manually add the paypal fee transactions.

Oh well, only 5 more weeks until one of us has to take them to the Financial Ombudsman Service. The support is absolutely diabolical.

At this time, bringing PayPal fee transactions to QuickBooks Online issue is still on-going. Rest assured our product engineers are all hands in working for a fix.

 

Right now, please continue uploading your PayPal fee transactions via CSV file as an alternative to keep your books updated.

 

To ensure you'll get an update about the resolution status, I recommend contacting our Phone Support Team. This way, they can add your company to the list of affected users and provide this investigation number for easy tracking: INV-42500.

I asked support to do that @Mark_R, many of us have! They had no idea what the reference number was that you keep quoting on this thread when I first contacted them. Additionally, I can't see anyone on here who has actually received a proactive update??? We have transcripts for all of these interactions.

 

There is absolutely no point in having Quickbooks without simple banking integration - it was working fine until Intuit changed it to comply with Open Banking and clearly did no testing whatsoever. We keep raising FCA regulated complaints with support and they keep shutting them down as resolved - they do not have a clue how to provide support on this issue and they are not following the FCA dispute processes. So, you can keep repeating the same garbage advice on this thread and NOTHING is going to change.

 

If that continues, I for one, will definitely be taking my complaint to the FOS. I have finally been told today by Nina in support that my ticket wasn't even raised as it had been duplicated into another for a completely different issue. That is now ticket [removed]. You keep cutting and pasting the same utterly useless advice. Agin, we have transcripts for all of these interactions.

 

I also have another PayPal integration issue raised on 27th February where now on the new integration QBO is importing PayPal transactions in the wrong currency - how do you suggest that is resolved? Another manual import?????? I too have raised that with support MULTIPLE times since the change went in and it is still not resolved and I will never be able to reconcile QBO and Paypal. I had a ticket raised, provided screenshots, asked multiple times if they had all the information. I asked again today to be told he had lost the screenshots and nothing was being done!!!!!! That is ticket [removed].


How do we claim a refund and when are you going to start posting proper support and guidance.

REST ASSURED!!  come on you have been saying that for 3 weeks now and my accounts are in melt down!!

 

NO I refuse to upload manually as last time you had a feed isssue with PAypal you duplicated everything and quadrupaled my workload.  JUST FIX IT!!!

Totally agree, can't believe there are not hundreds posting on here being affected.  I wonder what leverage HMRC will give when we cannot complete our accounts, due to QB complete incompedence!!

No more fees in the Bank feed.
