How do you change width of description column on an invoice?

Welcome to the Community - thank you for your question!

You can do this by going to the cog wheel in the top right hand corner, and then custom form styles. Once on there, edit the invoice template you are using and select 'content'. Select the middle section of the invoice and click 'edit labels and widths' - here you will be able to adjust the widths of each column.

Hi - this feature does not work. Please fix it. I have adjusted the column width multiple times and no changes are taking affect when I create a new invoice. I am unable to view the Product/Service, it makes it very difficult to work with the platform.

Welcome to the Community space. I'm here to assist you in adjusting the width of description column on an invoice in QuickBooks Online.

When you create an invoice, you can click and drag the column width to adjust it. This way, you'll be able to see the Product/Service column.

Here's how:

While on the invoice creation window, hover your cursor to the line between PRODUCT/SERVICE and DESCRIPTION.
Your cursor will change to adjust mode. Click and drag it to scale the width.

Additionally, you can also consider customizing your invoice in QuickBooks Online.
