Invoice unavailable

Customers using ios 14.7.1 (latest update) are unable to view invoices. I have tested it on myself and have the same issue. When you click the link 'view invoice and more info' it says 'invoice unavailable'. Viewing on the laptop is not a problem.

Invoice unavailable

Hi there, babystepssleeptr.

We haven't receive any reports of an issue, so It's possible that your browser may be the one causing the problem.

To isolate this issue, we can perform troubleshooting steps to make sure you can access the invoices. You can start by accessing QuickBooks on a private window of your browser.

These are the keyboard shortcut to open a private window for your browser:

  • Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge - press CTRL + SHIFT + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox - press  CTRL + SHIFT + P.
  • Safari for Mac - press ⌘ + SHIFT + N

If you're able to access the invoice through a private window, then you can go back to your regular browsing window and clear browser cache. This will remove outdated and corrupted files that causes browsing issues just like the one you encountered.

You can also use other supported browsers that works perfectly with QuickBooks Self-Employed.

I want to make sure I've got you covered. You can click the Reply button below to add some details. I'll be in touch. Have a nice day!

Let me route you to the right support, @darrellj.

The error Invoice Unavailable when attempting to view invoices using iOS is currently an ongoing issue. To confirm any updates about this, I recommend reaching out to our Customer Care team. With their tools, they can also link your account to the investigation so you'll receive notifications via email. Let me guide you how:

  1. Once signed in to your QuickBooks Self Employed (QBSE) account, click the Help icon.
  2. Select the Contact us button.
  3. From the What can we help you with? page, type your concern in the box. Example: Getting error Invoice Unavailable when trying to view invoices on iOS.
  4. Then, click Continue.
  5. You'll see the How would you like to connect with us? window. From there, choose either Chat with us or Have us call you.

You can also use the Assistant menu to connect with our live support team. For the detailed steps, check out this article: Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed Support.

While waiting for this to be resolved, you can use a desktop computer to view your invoices as a workaround.

Tracking the invoice you made for your customer is a breeze in QBSE. Simply go to the Invoices menu to view, print, or export them.

If you have further concerns about viewing your invoices using iOS, feel free to add a reply below. I'm always here for you. Have a good one.
