Can someone please advise how I change my address that shows on my invoices, I have changed the address on company information but its not showing on any new invoices.

Can someone please advise how I change my address that shows on my invoices, I have changed the address on company information but its not showing on any new invoices.

You've already changed your old address in the company information, but the new address isn't showing on the invoices. To fix this, ensure the customer-facing address matches the company address.

 

Here's how to do it:

 

  1. Navigate to the Gear icon and choose Account and Settings.
  2. Open the Company tab.
  3. Scroll down to Address │ Customer-facing address and select the pencil icon.
  4. Check the Same as company address box.
  5. Click Save, then Done.

By following these steps, your new address appears on all your sales forms.

I need to change my invoice address also - I am a sole trader so do not have the company info section. I have changed my profile address but it has not fed through.

The Company info section of the Accounts and settings menu is available only to QuickBooks Online and Solopreneur versions, Lou. I'm here to help you modify the registered invoice address on the QuickBooks Sole Trader or Self-Employed.

 

To ensure the changes you've made to your invoice address are stored, hit the Save button after entering the address from the Invoice page. Please refer to the screenshot below:

If the same thing happens, let's perform some troubleshooting steps to handle this situation. To start, kindly access your account using a private browser. Follow these keyboard shortcut keys to proceed:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

 

When you can edit the email address and the modification is visible on your invoice, kindly clear your regular browser's cache and cookies. Doing so removes unnecessary data that impacts the system's performance and behavior. If the issue persists, consider using another supported browser.
