I'm new to Quickbooks online. Trying to customise my invoice but logo prints really small. Looks OK when creating it but when it's printed as a pdf it's way too small.

Hi there, ben21.

Let me welcome you first to the QuickBooks family. Allow me to share some information about why the size of your logo is small when printed.

Our engineers have identified this issue and are working to get the feature operating again as soon as possible. While waiting for the permanent resolution, I recommend you reach out to our Support Team.

One of our specialists can add you to the list of affected users and receive email notifications as soon as they're available. The most up to date contact information can be found here:

  1. Go to Help at the top, then click on the Contact Us link.
  2. In the What can we help you with? window, enter contact support in the field box.
  3. In the Choose a way to connect with us section, select Chat or Get a callback.

Rest assured, I’ll update this post once there’s progress.

For future reference, I'm adding a link on how to add, customise, and troubleshoot logo on sales forms.

The information I provided should help you moving forward.

I appreciate your patience while we look into this. If there’s anything else I can help you with, leave me a comment. I’ll be right here to assist further.

Hi Ben did this issue ever get resolved as I have the same issue (along with many others I'm sure) and I was told that the engineers are aware of the problem. Over a year for the same issue isn't great!?

Cheers

Jamie

Hello, @JamieRobins.

I've checked from our records and found out that the investigation was already tagged as closed and resolved by our engineers. Since you're getting the same problem at this time, I suggest reaching out to our Support Team so they can check and investigate this more closely.

To contact support, tap on Contact us from the Help menu.

Post again if you have any other questions. I'm more than happy to help. Have a good day!

Hi Angelyn,

I have already reached out to your team, like many other users on here who have also asked for help with the issue of logo shrinking. I was told that your engineers are aware of a problem and will be in touch when the problem has been resolved. But from what I can see the problem has been around for over a year and I have just walked into the same problem after switching desktop version to this online version. Over a year to sort out the Logo issue seems like it's fallen on deaf ears to me? Invoicing and Estimating is main part of the accounts for us and I would really like to sort out the logo issue asap.

Many thanks

Jamie

Thanks for getting back to us, @JamieRobins.

Currently, this is working as designed where a customer uses a wide logo's some templates doesn't display the same size image. Rest assured our engineering team is aware of this feature request and are working on an update about this.

We have found some users have been able to resolve this by opening their logo in Windows Paint and increasing the size in there, saving it and importing that version of the logo into Quickbooks Online.

In the meantime, you'll want to customise your template where the logo is by default. Let me guide you how.

In your QuickBooks Online (QBO):

  1. Go to the Gear ⚙ icon.
  2. Select Custom Form Styles.
  3. Click New Style.
  4. Then select the type of form you want to create.

Here's an article you can check for more information on how to personalise your invoices: Customise invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

You might also want to check our Manage Customers and Income page and learn some best practices in managing your income effectively.

Let me know if there's anything else you need help with. I'm always around to back you up. Take care and keep safe!
