Hi,
I use recurring transactions a lot and update them each week with a narrative changing the date. I used to be able to then save the template and know next time I use it when I last invoiced without having to check elsewhere.
The functionality should be - Every time you use a Recurring Transaction and edit it, QuickBooks Online asks if you would like to make the change this “One time only,” or “Update for all.”
I use update for all.
This has suddenly stopped working? Why is this? I have cleared all cookies etc. so it's not that. Has Intuit changed the functionality without telling us? Is there somewhere I can turn this back on if it's been turned off?
Really annoying atm and time consuming checking.
Please let me know.

Hi Paul, thanks for detailing your post so clearly :)
You should see this pop-up message appear when editing specific fields on the recurring transaction such as the memo, can I confirm which specific field(s) you're trying to apply the batch changes to?
Hi There,
I was always able to change something in the description field and the pop up would appear. This has suddenly changed so it doesn't appear anymore. I've tried changing the quantity as well and still nothing. I can save but no pop-up.
Any help gratefully received.
Kindest regards
Paul

You should be asked to Update for all or for One time only every time you edit items or customers in a specific template. You can check this article for more information: Edit a recurring template.
