When sending invoices and other transactions, the default email address is quickbooks@notification.intuit.com. Aside from Gmail email address, you won't be able to change it.
For Gmail or G-suite users, you can link your account to QuickBooks Online when sending invoices. It only takes a moment to do this.
- Create an invoice like you always do.
- Click Save and send to open the preview window.
- In the From drop-down menu, choose Add Gmail address.
- Follow the on-screen steps to let QuickBooks use your Gmail account.
- Select Send and close.
Meanwhile, you can email yourself a copy when sending invoices to your customers. Here's how to set this function:
- Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner and select Account and Settings.
- Select the Sales tab and go to the Messages section.
- Mark the Email me a copy at (email address) box.
- You can also enter your email address in the Copy (Cc) or the Blind Copy (Bcc) fields.
- Click Save and Done.
