Why is quickbooks making an automatic entry to reinstate the creditor balance I try to write off?

Hi liz83 So you have any of the automation options, automatically apply credits, active within the advanced settings?

can you try clearing your cache and cookies and trying again and seeing if the same thing happens or not for you. This link here will help you with it.
