Trying to submit my VAT return, it has been offline since Friday evening, I have already re-authorised my Gov Gateway. Any suggestions?

Thank you for your reply, I did contact the help desk and after about 30 minutes of trying the things I had already tried, they identified that the error was on HMRC side. I was advised to wait for HMRC to fix their problem and a couple of hours later the return was showing as "open" and I was able to submit successfully
