After the last two weeks of constant issues, missing features, zero feedback on feedback, pretty terrible customer serve to be blunt, and further to my previous thread https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-uk/other-questions/re-lack-of-customer-engagement/01/...
I'm trying to make things better with QBO so I'm going to start this thread in the hope that someone at Intuit takes note and starts addressing issue for us PAYING CUSTOMERS migrating over from QBD. You have forced us into this corner so PLEASE HELP WITH BETTER FEEDBACK.
Don't get me wrong, the core of the system isn't that far off, but there are some frankly stupid decisions being made with really basic features missing. Below is a list of issues or features which I've currently found so if anyone from Intuit would like to start engaging instead of just saying it's not possible to do that, please use the feedback process, that would be great. If another users would like to add to the list please reply and I'll add it. I'll try and maintain the list over time.
1. No being able to send forms via your own companies email
Why is this an issue. When a customer has a query regarding an invoice/statement they can't reply direct to the sent form which can cause confusion and is creating more work for the customer.
2. Common send form email body. This signature area should be common across all forms which are sent.
Why would it not be common across all emails. I sent an invoice, statement, PO this should be the same. There also seems to be a mix up in message to customer and the email body?
3. No function to customise purchase orders, statements and other send forms to match the common invice company branding.
Branding should be again common across all forms as with the common email body.
4, Along with the above issues, because we can't change anything on the purchase order style we also have to put with with the rather stupid "Have A Nice Day" on the email body, because it's not common. I'm sorry but this isn't a very professional signature and saying in the UK. People actual squirm at the saying.
5. Custom column in invoices. Although there is a single PO field in the header of an invoice. Many companies will be creating an invoice with multiple lines of PO's per invoice. Have at least one custom column would help around the issue and give other user the ability to at least have an extra line of information if required. Yes we can use the decryption box but it actually makes for a messy looking invoice.
6. Additional custom DATE fields to PO's. When creating a PO for a supplier typically you'll have the date created, but it's also it can be important to have a delivery required date on the PO form. Users can add a customer field box but it's just text, would be quicker if they could add an actual date field box. Would be even easier if we could set a future date expected per suppliers. So let say 10 working days etc.
7. Having batch change price and purchase price for all stock or service items. Currently downloading and changing the xml file certainly isn't ideal. It's several exytra steps which can cause problems to inexperienced users.
8. HSBC credit card (maybe this applied to other banks too) has both a individual CC account and a separate holding account. By having both displayed within QBO, no option to only add one. This is leading to additional work when excluding duplicated transactions. If it's not something that can be achieved server side an option to exclude a whole bank account would save time and clutter.
9. The sort feature doesn't work as intended in various reports if the report is to sort via invoice number. It currently sorts via date, then invoice number and not by the selected column.
For now that's my list but will add to it if anyone else requests anything. There are a few other things I have forgotten about but will add when I remember.
Any other users out there wishing to wade in please feel free.
