What is EOFY?

The end of financial year doesn’t need to be as scary as it sounds. With the right help, now is your time to report the financial health of your business and claim every deduction you’re entitled to.

QuickBooks Online can help you prep and keep everything in order and ready for tax time. Your tax return is due to the Australian Tax Office (ATO) by 31 October. If you use a qualified tax agent, the deadline extends to 15 May 2022.

What is tax time?

Tax time (or tax season) in Australia runs from the beginning of July to 31 October. During this busy period, businesses and individuals prepare and lodge their tax returns.

That’s where accounting software like QuickBooks Online comes in handy. A tax agent can also help lodge your tax return through QuickBooks Online. Companies and ABN holders have until 31 May the following year.

With all your financial data in one place, it’s easier to prep and lodge a complete and compliant tax return with the ATO.
