We're aware of an earlier issue impacting performance on the iOS app. This was fixed by our Engineering Team as part of the new app version. For the fix to take effect please delete the QuickBooks mobile app from your iOS device and install the most recent version (24.05.9) from the App Store.

The iPhone App has had issues the past 3 weeks or so.
if you delete and reinstall, it doesn’t sync all the data back, so you have missing customers, invoices, payments etc. Anything can be missing, hence everyone’s experience is different, save that everyone has missing data.
It was thought the latest release (overnight Sunday 2nd June) fixed it, but it hasn’t fixed it for us.
Hi James, we thank you for your input. Have you raised this issue with the IOS app with our customer support team previously? If not, so we can get this reraised for you with our senior technicians, what items are you missing in the app and are you able to view them in the browser version. Thanks.

it was the old app on apple. The latest iOS 17.5.1 forced me to delete the app and reinstall. This has worked and I’m now on the new software and working fine.

Yes. We are all on IOS 17.5.1 and Quickbooks 24.05.9.
Download company data now takes about 8 seconds (normally takes a few minutes after a re-install, but ever since this bug it’s been a matter of seconds, as few as 2 seconds).
Full data never syncs, eg overdue invoices is about 2/3’s the total it should be.

As a longtime user, I did delete the app and reinstall the app today. Did not change a thing. Everything is still messed up and useless to where I cannot conduct business out in the field. This is becoming ridiculous after 10 calls and multiple feedback for the last two months nothing is changing, pulling the customer base and the products and services from the servers instead of what is stored on the phone but only when creating an invoice. When you just go to the customer base or products in the app, it pulls it From what is stored on the device, but when you create an invoice, it pulls it from the servers and all it shows us product numbers no description and no price. We cannot memorize 1000 different products and services this needs to be fixed.!!!!!!!

I know that seeing the customer name and products &services when creating an invoice is very important. However, I can suggest contacting our support team again to check this, as they have a secure environment to pull up your account and further investigate the issue. It’s almost been a month now, and the iPhone app is still broken.
You’d think it hard to compete with a company with US$ 170 billion market cap, but the lack of haste to fix app issues is unbelievable.
There’s a different bug I reported in January 2024 that still isn’t fixed 5 months later. The invoice list screen incorrectly shows invoices as “not sent”, but if you go into an individual invoice, it correctly shows “sent”. Not only is it not fixed, it recently got switched from a bug report, to an improvement report, so now I fear it will never be fixed.
It’s not like scrolling down a list to check for invoices that haven’t been sent is important!

Hello, I’ve got version 24.08.4 and it’s missing a lot of functionality. Can’t see things like invoices etc. All I have in menu is account settings, request a feature and help. It’s been like this for a couple of weeks. Nothing I do seems to fix it. Had previously done the same thing a couple of months ago but sorted out with update.

Same has happened here, can’t create new invoice without them already being marked as paid and deposited, useless for making invoice s out and about. On latest iOS and app version too, deleted and re-installed multiple times, frustrating and disappointing I’m paying a monthly fee for sub par service. No on in support to talk to other than an air robot that doesn’t understand what your asking.
Wtf is going on with quickbooks. I have over 100k in expenses i need to categorize and the iphone app won’t allow me to access the expenses. Normally i’d get a task in my “to do” section notifying me that i have xxx$ in potential deductions. I normally click that and then start categorizing my expenses. That feature is now gone. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app several times. Only once did it provide this view again and after categorizing the first expense they all disappeared again. I HATE this app.
