Validation codes are created using your QuickBooks license number. However, the Community doesn't have a way of taking a look at your account to be able to verify your license number.
I recommend calling our Customer Service Department. They need to ask for your account information for them to generate a code for you. Here's how:

If that does not work can you message us via PM/DM on either FaceBook or Twitter on QuickBooks UK as we can not post the code here with it being a public forum as you can see things like email address are redacted so we'd need you to come on social media if you have not been able to get through on the phone and we can then give you that information.

I'm user of QBDT Pro 2016. I'm unable to open my company file. QB is saying it has reached the expiration date while have a valide license. If I go through CTRL+R+P, validation code and customer number are empty. Can you help out???
You have to call their Support team to get the activation code. If they refuse to do so, you can use the trial version for good as a workaround.
