Quick Books Scam Call?

After attending some Quick Books webinars recently, I have had two phone calls and several emails from someone who claims to be my Business Consultant. The consultant is trying to put me through to my Account Manager.

I am unsure if these are genuine Quick Books calls or scams.

Is anyone on here able to advise on whether phone calls from [removed] are genuine?

Thanks in advance for any help

Quick Books Scam Call?

Hi there, @C0_3.

You won't get a call from our team if you didn't request a callback from us at QuickBooks. Receiving two calls and multiple emails could indicate fraudulent activity.

To ensure the communication is legitimate, please note that official emails from Intuit will always come from an @intuit.com domain. I recommend checking these helpful references to identify trusted communication from us:

If the emails seem suspicious, report them immediately. For more details, check this article: Identify suspicious activity, phishing scams, and potential fraud.

If you’re having issues with QuickBooks or want to verify whether the calls or emails were truly from Intuit, be sure to reach out to us directly through our official support channels or in-product help. Our team can confirm whether the contact you received was legitimate.

To contact them, here's how:

  1. Click the (?) Help button in the top-right corner of your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Choose the Assistant tab to get help from the QB assistant, or select the Search tab to enter your question and find Help articles.

Phone support is available on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. You can request a callback during weekdays from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and a support expert will contact you as soon as possible. Chat support is available weekdays from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM and weekends from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
