Trying to log In on a desk top and it says “ we’re fetching your data” it’s been 2 days ??

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community, @multi-fix-outloo. I can share some steps to fix the error when attempting to access your QBSE account.

Let's start with clearing the cache of your desktop app. Here's how:

  1. Select the Help menu on the navigation bar at the top.
  2. Click Reset App Datadesktopapp1.JPG
  3. Wait for the process to complete, and then close the app.
  4. To open, right-click the app and Run as Administrator.

If the same thing happens, I suggest uninstall-reinstall the program. Please refer to the steps below:

  1. Since the steps for uninstalling the App varies based on your Windows version, please proceed to How do I uninstall? section of this article: QuickBooks App for Windows and Mac: General support.
  2. When done, remove the locally stored settings. Press the Windows key (⊞) on your keyboard, or select the Start icon on your screen, and from the search bar enter %appdata% (including the percentage signs). Hit Enter.
  3. Find the QuickBooks folder. If you see a Roaming folder instead, open it first as the QuickBooks folder is contained within. Right-click and Delete the QuickBooks folder. This will be recreated when a fresh version of the app is installed.
  4. Using the article in Step 1, go to the How do I install the app? section to re-install the QBO app based on the method for your Windows version. Also, it's recommended that you allow the program to be stored in the default installation directory (usually C:/ProgramFiles or ProgramFiles (x86)).

Also, you can always sign in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account using a web browser.

To ensure that your transactions are organised and match the correct line on your Schedule C form, you may visit this link for more info: Categorise transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Keep in touch with me if you have further concerns about accessing your account. I'll be around whenever you need further assistance. Take care always.
