Hello Info1683. Thanks for getting in contact with us at the Community!, To remove a bank account you can go to accounting on the left hand side menu>chart of accounts> on the drop down by account history on the duplicate account>go to edit and in the pop up disconnect account on save(to remove the bank connection) then if you want to remove the chart of account as well on the same drop down select make inactive which will remove the chart of account.

Hi I had the same problem, but when I go to make the account inactive, I get the following message:
This account has a non-zero balance. Inactivating this account will cause an adjusting transaction to be created. Is this OK?
I am concerned that this will create a whole mess. Need I not worry?
