You can transfer a bank payment through the Transfer feature to clear your credit account. This will let you record a funds transfer between your two accounts.
- Go to the +New button.
- Select Transfer under the Other column.
- In the Transfer Funds From field, choose your credit account.
- From the Transfer Funds To drop-down list, choose the bank account your bank payments are being deposited into.
- Enter the amount in the Transfer Amount field.
- Click Save and close or Save and new.

After you download your transactions from your financial institution, you can assign and categorise them into your account. Kindly refer to this article for the detailed steps: Downloaded banking transactions. It also contains information on how you can split a transaction between different categories.
