bank not connecting (error 570)

Has anyone managed to connect their bank with the error -

Looks like you’re locked out of the Aqua Mastercard (UK) site.

Try signing in on your bank’s site to unlock your account. Then return here and try connecting again. (570)

According to the bank provider, I have never been locked out of my account. I contacted quickbooks team who gave me multiple solutions which took hours with different browsers, clear cache, incognito mode, etc... but none worked and was told I would be contacted by another team and it was their top priority to solve the case...shortly followed by an email saying your case has been closed with no communication in between and a complaints reference number? I clearly wasn't getting anywhere and with limited time, I fortunately managed to join Xero which connected everything perfectly and got my vat return out on time. I use quickbooks self employed for my receipt logs and self assessment. I have thousands on receipts logged so switching isn't an option for this case so I need it sorted asap

Hello Michael, thanks for posting on the Community page,  can you please add the bank as a new connection instead and just toggle off your old connection this should then resolve your issue your currently having.

I have also tried this. I was asked to delete the old connection and connect as a new connection which deleted 5 months of previous transactions and receipts

I've been having this exact problem with my Aqua connection too, it's been going on for months. Tried in Firefox and Chrome, both on desktop (Windows) and mobile (Android), tried connecting via the Quickbooks and Aqua apps on my phone, exact same error as the original post every time.

I am not and have never been locked out of my Aqua account, and to all appearances the connection setup all goes through smoothly on Aqua's side, it's only when I get back to Quickbooks that it shows an error.

bank not connecting (error 570)

Hi just seen this thread. We have had this issue for nearly two months now. Was told by QB to delete bank and reconnect. Bank now back online but 2 years of data was missing. Was then told by QB to import missing bank transactions  by CSV file from the bank. We have done this and now all transactions are there but we have no receipts or notes. This information must be on the QB data base but how do we retrieve  ??? This is a big problem for us as our tax year runs from Oct to Oct so information is missing from Oct 2021. Please can you help.

bank not connecting (error 570)

We appreciate you letting us know about the experience you've encountered, Ali77. I'm here to share insights and help you resolve banking transactions in your account.

As QuickBooks is dependent on the data imported from your bank through CSV files, this only records the information entered from the file to the QuickBooks program. It is best to reach out to your financial institution to allow attachments, such as receipts, to be imported into your self-employed account. This way, you'll have details attached to your entries once imported into the program. Also, please know that disconnecting your bank from your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account will remove all the categorised transactions. With this, you'll need to acquire other CSV file with older transactions needed for your filings and manually import these entries again to QBSE.

Moreover, I've included this guide to help you organise your income and expenses transactions: Categorise transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

We'll always be here, willing to back you up if you have additional questions when managing bank transactions in your account. Please don't hesitate to leave them in the comments below. Keep safe!

I'm here to lend a hand and show you how to restore your bank feed connection so you'll get the latest transactions, Artsen.

Error 570 indicates that there's an issue with the connection that QuickBooks (QBO) uses to download your banking information. Let's log in to the Payoneer website and check for the following:

  1. Check your account for messages, notifications, or alerts.
  2. Look for any display issues as you navigate the website. These can block QuickBooks from downloading new transactions.
  3. Check your bank’s website for any announcements about new security requirements.

If everything looks good, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online (QBO) Care Team for further investigation. They have the tools to check the connection between your bank and the online program. Furthermore, our specialists will guide you in applying the permanent solution to resolve the error.

Alternatively, manually upload transactions to fetch the latest banking data. Next, categorise them to the correct account to facilitate a seamless reconciliation process.

After the bank feed is functioning properly again, review the transactions for any duplicates. If you find any, exclude them to ensure your records are well-organized.

Utilize the solutions in these resources in case you encounter other online banking issues, or errors uploading your credit card and bank entries:
