We're unable to change the assigned currency of an account, so the option is to delete (make inactive) it and create a new one. To inactivate the account, simply click the down arrow next to View register and choose Make inactive. That's it.

You'll want to turn on the multicurrency. This feature will give you an option to set the Euro as the home currency. However, that affects all your accounts, not just the deposit account, and we can't undo nor turn it off.
Also, this feature allows you to add an account that uses a foreign currency. For example, your home currency is Pound but you want to set up an account for Euro.

Hi Thanks for the reply but I am afraid it doesn’t solve my issue. I am working using IPad and in fact I cannot follow the directions that you have given me as it looks like they don’t relate to the QuickBooks IPad app.
However the issue I have is that I have mistakenly set up my euro account as GBP.
So my question is. How can I change this account from GBP to Euro. Or if this is not possible how can I delete this account and set up a new one for the same feed in its place in Euro.
