HSBC business account updates the current account on bank feed, but won't update the savings or credit card accounts since open banking was introduced. QBO can't help

You'll want to contact our QuickBooks support again to check on the email you received. If you've received an email about being able to reconnect HSBC but it still doesn't work, they can check your account.
Click the Help icon.
Click Contact us.
Enter HSBC Open Banking, then click Let's talk.
Select from Start messaging or Get a callback.
Note that our support hours is open from 6 AM-6 PM PT Monday-Friday. We have limited staffing due to COVID-19.
