Random Banking transactions

Hi. I am matching my transactions to my invoices. I have updated both the banking and Paypal feeds. I then use the custom filter to narrow the dates down to the ones that I want to work with, in this case 1.8.20 - 31.10.20.

I then get the transactions listed. When I sort them by Description I then find all sorts of random transactions added in with the correct transactions. Originally, these were from 2015 but now appear to be from 2016.

I have cleared my caches and history, tried a private window in my browser (Google Chrome) and have restarted my computer, all to no effect.

I would love to know how to rectify this issue as I have deadlines that need to be met. Any help would be very gratefully accepted.

Thank you

Gill

Random Banking transactions

Hi, GILLSLEIGH1978.

I've checked and verified that we have reported issues with other users when trying to update the PayPal feeds. Our Engineering Team is actively working with PayPal to determine why transactions aren't bringing into QuickBooks.

We are all hands on deck up and running together for an immediate fix to sort everything out. While they do, I would advise you to get in touch with our QuickBooks Support. Have them attach your case to the investigation and add your account information to the list of affected users. Any progress will be communicated via email.

Here's how to contact us:

As a workaround, you can manually bring the PayPal transactions into QuickBooks Online using an Excel CSV file. You can find the outlined steps in this article: Import bank transactions using Excel CSV files.

Please extend your patience while we're working on the permanent fix. Don't hesitate to drop me a line if you have other questions about QuickBooks. Have a good one.
