Hi aj-smallprintsde, thanks for getting back to us here with that screenshot - please edit the ending balance to a negative value using the dash symbol (e.g. -129.27). This represents a credit balance for the CC and should allow you to complete the reconciliation.
Let's get your books straightened, @aj-smallprintsde.
I'll ensure you'll be able to find the missing amount.
We can start by reviewing the previous reconciliation. Make sure that amount entered matches your bank statement as well as the ending date associated.
If everything is matched, feel free to look back for some of the causes why you’d encounter ending balance discrepancies:

Hi Daniela,
Thank you for your reply.
All previous reconciles match and the balances are all correct.
All entered amounts in Quickbooks match the credit card statement exactly and I have checked these three times.
When I paid my credit card this month, I overpaid by accident, leaving my account in credit, rather than debit.
I need to amend the End Balance to be an in credit, i.e a plus number, not a minus number. But the default and only option seems to be minus - I assume this is because it's a credit card. Please help.
Screengrab is attached for reference.

OMG, thank you Georgia! I can't believe it's that simple (if a little un-intuitive).
I appreciate the help very much.
