Hi - I have just heard back for the site manager that the employee Cannot see the bank etc so I ws originally given the wrong impression !.
Thanks for getting back to me to clarify
Hello Patric84, thanks for posting on the Community page, you can toggle on the privacy option on the dashboard, but that would be able it, you can leave this as feedback within the main cog wheel
Thanks for getting back to me but my question directly relates to central control for all employees as we do not want them to see financial information. Asking them individually to turn on privacy and then trusting them not to peek is not really an option.
Hi Patrick,
I understand your concern about privacy and central control of financial information within your company. It's important to note that your employees need Admin level access to create payroll. However, this also means they have visibility into bank balances on the Dashboard. If your employees do not require access to payroll, you can set them up as a standard user with limited access. When you add a new standard user, you'll see what they can or can't do on the screen. To view full user roles and access rights, click here.
Sorry, what is the relevance of payroll ? I was asking bout centralised control to seeing bank balances and profit & Loss Data on the dashboard ?
Hello Patrick84, im not sure why they have said about the payroll, however if you have a look at the article they sent to you, it shows all the different levels of access your employees would have. So if you set the employee up as a PA/CA ( Primary admin/Company Admin) and regular (standard) user they can see the dashboard. If you set them up as ideally, regular (standard) users who are limited to customers/suppliers aren’t able to view the dashboard also reports only and time tracking aren’t able to see the dashboard information as well.
Thanks for getting back to me. The employee in question has Standard Limited Customer Only access rights so just to be clear are you saying he Should NOT be able to see the dashboard ? I am now going to ask the site manager to go double check what the employee can see when he logs on and will update this accordingly.
