Allow me to step in and provide you some insights regarding deleting the Companies House Registration Number (CRN) in your QuickBooks Online.
Right now, deleting and customizing the CRN is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online. This field is an obligatory field and required from the HMRC.
You can get more details about editing the CRN in this article: Change company name, address, email address or CRN. You can type over what is in there and save

You can delete the Companies House Registration Number (CRN) by going to the settings in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Please refer to these steps:

Hi, thanks for this.
However, the CRN is still there and showing as 0000000 on pay slips. It's possible to edit the number, but I can't remove it altogether it seems, even if it doesn't apply to us.
