Hi elaine6
If you are using either Paysuite or the Standard Online payroll systems you are not able to edit the email content. If you are using the Advanced Online you also are not able to amend the default content however you are able to add additional wording to the message that accompanies the email. Payroll settings > Pay slip settings > select edit under Custom message for the pay slip notification email.
Hello @elaine6,
As of the moment, there's isn't an integrated way that'll let you amend or change the email address in sending your employee's payslips.
In the meantime, you can manually save and send your employee's payslips through your personal email. To do so:
From there, you can compose a new email message for your employee and include the payslip you recently saved. To add, here's an article you can read to learn more about your employee's payslip: Payslips in QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll.
In case you need some related articles in managing your employee's payroll, you can visit our Payroll Articles hub for reference.
You can always leave a comment below if you have any other concerns. I'd be glad to provide further assistance.
Thanks but I mean the email content that the payslip is automatically attached to. I'd like to make this more specific to our team.

There is a problem with this solution.
The custom message is just slapped underneath the default one. So after the default says, 'Kind Regards, Business name', the custom message appears below.
It looks ugly and only lets us put a PS on the end of the default message. I recommend QB fix this and let us put our own message without any automated one appearing anywhere.
Hello Accounts63,
Thanks for the feedback, we will pass this on to our product develop engineers.
I also have the same issue, It should be possible for us to save a template email to use for payslips. I have to send these out tomorrow and really don't want to have to do it all manually.
Please can this be added as a feature?
A single customisable template for all payslips would be better than nothing fine to start with, but moving on we should be able to have an email per schedule, pay run, and employee.
Happy to help write the specs :O)
Kindest regards
