I'm using Advanced payrol but when i go to the deductions screen as per the link it doesn't give me the option to choose a POST tax or Court Order?
Can anyone help?
Thanks Donna
Hello, @DON111.
The option should be available for the QuickBooks Online Advanced Payroll users. Since it doesn't give you an option to select Post-Tax Deduction, I encourage reaching out to our Support Team. This way, they'll be able to review and check the option for you.

So how do you record a DEA in Payroll standard?
Hi Carly8, you can create a deduction of earnings for this by going to the employee > Actions > Deductions > Select the + icon > After-tax deduction - please note the Standard payroll is only able to create post-tax deductions, a pre-tax deduction would require upgrading to the Advanced payroll.
Thanks :)
