The invoices my clients receive are all sent associated with an old email address of mine.
I have changed all contact details to my new address but this has not updated the invoices that get sent out. So clients are replying to my old address. No where on the site can I see my old email address to be able to change it to the new one so I am completely at a loss as to how to change it and why this is happening.
Thanks

Hello there, @portbahnislay and @brightlights,
I'll help ensure both of you are able to send your invoices with the correct email address.
Just to confirm, did you change your email addresses on the Profile page? If so, this maybe the reason the program is still pulling up the old email addresses when sending your invoices to your clients.
To help fix this, you'll need to add the new email address on the Your Work Info page. Here's how:
Moving forward, the system will use the new email address for your invoicing.

Hello portbahnislay,
Have you also updated your email address on your invoice template?
Thanks,
Talia
Hello
The screenshot you provided shows that you are using the Self Employed package. This does not have any feature to change the invoices the template is set as a default one in the QuickBooks Self Employed package.
Thanks
Emma
So how can I change the email addres it is sent from then?
I have updated all the contact information to my new address, months ago, yet still the invoices come from my old address.
Nowhere does it intuitively say where this old incorrect email address is held or where I can change it.
Thanks
Pi
We have got the same problem, we set up quickbooks with a brand new email address and somehow it has imported the business owners' husbands email address for invoicing - can you advise how that is deleted please.

Hallelujah!!!
That was a bit hidden down there, I'd never seen it before ... 2 years of searching. Should have asked sooner. Thank you very much indeed for the answer Raymond. All sorted.
Many thanks.

Hi
When I go to edit work info on my invoices, I can change the email but the save button is greyed out and therefore it does not save my info.
It's annoying having to change it on each invoice I send out.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Claire
Let's figure out why the save button is greyed out, Pootle73.
Sometimes, accumulated cache files in your browser cause unexpected issues, such as the one you encountered when attempting to click the Save button after editing work info.
To sort this out, let's perform basic troubleshooting steps. Start by opening a private browser or an incognito window on your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account. Based on your browser type, please refer to the keyboard shortcuts below:
After signing in, revisit and access your invoice and check if you can now click Save. If this resolves the problem, go to your regular browser and clear its cache. You can also use other supported browsers.
Additionally, I'll share this article to help you organize your income and expenses: Categorise transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
I'm still all ears if you have further questions about editing your work info on your invoices in QBSE. Just add a reply below, and I'll get back to you. Take care!
