I've only been using QBO for a few weeks, still running two companies in desktop version just so I can slowly ease my way into the online version.
Although in the main I do like QBO, I've posted several posts regarding missing features, bugs, or just plain terrible ideas with how Intuit have gone about certain, very basic things. Now, in the several other threads about issues I either get told pretty much tough, that's how it is, or, use the feedback button and we'll look into it.
Having read about the forums quite a bit, and I guess the forums will only scratch the surface of peoples grievances. It appears that many many questions about particular missing features are asked over and over. So as to aid in developing QBO to get up to scratch before the impending doom of QBD being turned off. I have a constructive suggestion for the developer at Intuit.
This is not uncommon, and would actually help us the CUSTOMER understand what happens to feedback suggestion. Why doesn't someone in the dev team engage with us on these forums with updates on bugs found, or updates on what is being worked on and what sort of timescales we'd be looking at for improvements to be roles out.
Feedback forms are fine, but it's ambiguous. There's zero feedback and it an open ended process. How long are we expected to wait before sending in a feedback report again? Basically it's a frustrating process's which we are paying the pleasure of the torture.
Any staffers care to comment? Any senior management who'd like to comment? This is your product, make us the customer make it better as at the moment it is lacking in some stupidly simple areas.

Mirriam, thank you for the reply, this helps a lot. Glad to see there is a engagement portal. It why did the multitude of replies, or anyone I spoke with at Inuit mention this? This should be front and centre so customers can pitch.
still, positive note and I’ll put my suggestions in.
It seems that’s specifically for the mobile app? I have no interest in the mobile app to be frank.
is the a QBO specific form please?
Hi Mark, you can leave feedback specific to QBO by signing into your account online and clicking the Cog > Feedback - this will then be submitted directly to our developers who regularly review and implement changes based on this. :)
Georgie thanks for the reply. Did you actually read my first post regarding this?
Another no reply thread?
Still no engagement. Is this a support portal of just bots posting automatic replies?
Is anyone going to actually address my concerns as a paying customer. Or are Intuit just sticking heads in the sand?
Hi Mark, all feedback is collated and reviewed by our developers on a regular basis - the developers are a non-customer facing team and as technical support we can only direct you to leave feedback using the integrated tool. Submissions posted using the feedback tool are largely implemented based on customer demand and while not all ideas are implemented every submission is valuable to us.
I understand that but I think you're missing the point of the Feedback reporting problem. There's zero feedback the other way.
As far as implementing feedback why is it I see the same suggestions being repeated on here over years. As I keep saying these are really basic things, stupid this like not being able to put your company logo on a form as a minimum is just frankly laughable. Maybe ok for Mrs. Miggins and her pie shop, but it's not ok for larger manufacturing business which deal at bluechip level of business is it.
Hello Mark, We will forward your comments on to our team regarding the feedback process so that we can look to explore involving the customer in this further to submitting their ideas.
Thank you. I hope they'd be a follow up as to any progress?
Still no progress on any of the reported issues?
