Hello Info-Kirstenwood,

What is exactly happening in regards to your snap reciept not working? Are you getting any errors or anything showing up?

My snap receipt is not working

Hi,

When I click on snap receipt it comes up: We can't open this right now, try again later.

This has been saying that for the last few days?

Thanks for that info-kirstenwood and is that messasge coming up on the web browser version or the app version of Quickbooks?

I can share a couple of info and steps to ensure you can take a photo of receipts in your mobile app, @info-kirstenwood.


The unexpected behavior of your account can be caused by an outdated app. With this, let’s perform some troubleshooting steps to fix these issues. To start with, you’ll want to restart your device.


Once done, we can refresh the data within the app or from the settings menu on your mobile app. This refreshes the application so we can start with a clean slate.


Android

 

  1. Go to Menu ☰ then tap More Options ⋮.
  2. Select Settings, then Refresh Data.
  3. Tap Yes.

 

iOS

 

  1. Go to the Menu ☰ icon, then select Help & Feedback.
  2. Tap Refresh Data.
  3. Select Refresh.

After that, proceed to your device Settings:


Android

 

  1. Go to the Settings menu.
  2. Select Apps (varies by device), then choose QuickBooks app from the list Storage.
  3.  Select Clear data.

 

iOS

 

  1. From your device's Settings, select Setting General iPhone Storage.
  2. Choose an app that's taking up a lot of space.
  3. Click the Offload App.

 

If the issue persists, I’d suggest you uninstall it by following the steps below, then reinstall the app.

 

  1. Tap and hold the app on your phone.
  2. Drag the app to the Uninstall section.
  3. Select Yes to confirm.
