Hello there, @e.wright.
It's my priority to ensure that your bank transactions will sync into your QuickBooks Online account.
The data we receive in QuickBooks depends on the information sent to us by the financial institution. If the connection between QBO and the bank is interrupted, bank transactions may not sync in the system.
To fix this, you can manually update the account to refresh the connection and fetch missing items.
Here's how:
To learn more about fixing online banking issues, see this article: Open Banking connection errors.
I'd also suggest reaching out to your bank to help verify if they have ongoing system maintenance. This can be the reason why transactions are not syncing into QBO.
If the problem continues, you may consider uploading your bank entries manually in the system to get your work done.
Here's how:
For the information and steps on importing these files, see this article: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.
Additionally, you can always use these resources attached to guide you in categorising and reconciling your accounts in QBO:

Hi, I've got same banking feed behaviour as described in the original post. HSBC. Not updating since July 30.
Done the manual update, no change.
I understand that I can upload the file, however I expect this to synchronise as before.
No changes on my side.
If there is more than 1 instance this would indicate the issue icon the QB side.
May I please ask you to investigate?
Thank you in advance.
Thank you for joining in on the thread and for following BettyJaneB's instructions, BarbaraPol.
I know that online banking is important because it speeds up the recording of transactions and reconciliation. I'll continue to help you check this out.
Aside from doing a manual update, you’ll also want to check your bank’s website to see if there are notifications about changes to bank feeds or anything that need's your attention. If there's none, edit your bank information in QuickBooks without actually changing anything. You only need to go through editing your sign-in details until you reach the final process just to refresh your connection.
If the steps still do not fix your connection issue, please contact our QBO Support to investigate this further. They can use a screen-sharing tool to gather more details on the issue.
Lastly, I just want to add this article for your additional reference: What to do if you get a bank error or can't download transactions in QuickBooks Online. It has information about error codes that you might need in the future. It's a US version, but the steps and the principles apply to the UK accounts as well.
