I am having the same issues invoices I have sent to customers for years now bouncing, getting really pissed of as a one man band I don't have time to chase everything up I have resorted to sending nvoice to me me then saying as a PDF  then forwarding to the customer not exactly user friendly, another thing that pees me of if I have a Mrs Smith at one address and another Mrs Smith and another address, you have to modify the name to add it to the system as Smith is already on the data base I'm thinking of going back to easy invoicing I used for years always got through no conflict with customers names  only no bank reconciliation but maybe a price worth paying also one payment , a lot less than paying for something that doesn't work for me.

We have also been having the same issues for months now, I have to send some manually outside of the system which just doesn't look as professional 

 

Its not until we are chasing for payment that we then know they haven't received an invoice, or they receive the same invoice multiple times. 

 

This is a basic procedure for an accounts package and I'm god smacked they still haven't managed to sort it! You need new developers as they don't seem to be able to do anything correctly or within a decent time frame.

 

We are also looking into a new accounts package as QB just isn't up to scratch with most of the others now.

The whole situation is appalling. 

The left hand doesn't know what the right is doing at QB. 

Where else can a technical issue take nearly 5 months to resolve, their own customer service advisers don't appear to know about it and waste time running through pointless checks etc, there is no compensation for lost time and their own we will, have it fixed by deadlines come and go.

The amount of hours being wasted by customers is ridiculous.

i don't even have any confidence that QB will advise on this thread when they finally fix this. 

A Trustpilot review elicited a response from their social media team  asked me for more details on the issue - and also gave a link to claim a refund - so once again this issue is not being communicated to their customer service teams - and guess what they want you to spend more time completing forms for a refund - but that doesn't apply if you are using the accountants version - the accountant would receive the refund.

Hopeless

Same problems, undelivered invoices, completely random for a few months now

Saving undelivered invoices as pdf's and emailing them to customers, but it can be 30 a day, proper pain in the backside!

How can it take a  $100 billion company over 5 months to resolve a problem as fundamental as their customers being unable to send invoices

No-one there seems to give a toss

100 percent agree 

 

Its affecting my workload, has been for months.  Plus the potential that many businesses are only realising maybe 45 days down the line that the customer hasn't received invoice therefore meaning even more delays to payment. That could cost people their jobs ! 

 

It is the worst customer service I have ever experienced

Randomly the invoices I sent seemed to get through yesterday, could it be just fluke? Or is there effective work in progress? But then I just sent one today, bounced right away : /

I haven't wanted to try this as feel I am annoying customers sending a separate email to check if they received. I send hundreds of invoices a month and I dont think payment reminders or statements are also being delivered. I am using the download for everything so i know outlook will have delivered what Quickbooks cant seem to fix.

Received this reply after posting a negative review on Trustpilot - looks like QB are still treating our ongoing problems as 'high priority'

Maybe a few more reviews on Trustpilot might make us, their customers, their highest priority

i have the same problem did quickbooks reply with a definitive answer ?  It is bad enough and time consuming having to manually resend invoices that quickbooks cannot deliver but I also saw  that I should tell my customers to adjust some settings. That isn't going to happen so I need to know urgently why so many people are suddenly affected with this issue and what quickbooks are doing about it.

I'll be providing details about the status of the issue of customers being unable to receive invoices.

 

Currently, the issue of customers' not receiving invoices is still ongoing. Our engineers are now working diligently to provide a permanent fix.
 

For now, we are unable to provide an exact time frame when this will be fixed. I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Support Team if you haven't reached them. This is to ensure they can add you to our notification list. This will help our engineers determine the number of affected users. You'll also receive an update via email once this has been resolved.

I doubt they are ever going to fix the problem. It has been ongoing for months. They only replies you will get are the usually copy/paste rubbish like the one above.

 

Like Quickbooks, I have given up. I have cancelled my subscription and gone elsewhere. Thats all I can recommend for anyone having these issues, which I would imagine would be a lot.

I hope you are having a wonderful day! I just want to send you an update regarding the escalation that I have raised in your behalf. Our Product and Development Team is now working on this issue and I understand that you need this resolved as soon as possible. Our Product and Development Team awell aware of the urgency to resolve this matter and they are doing their best to deploy the necessary fix as soon as possible. I would just like to give you a heads up that issues like these usually involve a longer resolution time as our engineers would still need to determine the root cause of the issue and address this accordingly. Currently, our Product and Development Team cannot yet provide a definite resolution time, but you have our assurance that we are on top of this situation. For the meantime, continue to use the suggested workaround that I have provided previously so you can continue with your book work.
As the system may detect that the support ticket <indicate Salesforce Case number> that I have logged for your concern is already overdue or open for quite some time, the system may automatically close the support ticket. However, please be assured that the escalation raised to our engineers is still open and being worked on.

We thought that this may have been images attached to an invoice but are realizing that none of our emails are getting delivered and are getting bounced. Extremely unprofessional from QB not to have fixed this till now. What is the solution QB team? My accounting spend hours to send a number of past due invoices to clients and now we have to do them manually in addition that personalized text is gone too since we have no access to our outbox from you. This is a major issue!

At this time, we haven't received an update from our product engineers about this undelivered invoice issue. 

 

I understand the urgency to get this issue fixed. But rest assured, our product engineers are diligently working on a fix. If you haven't yet, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. This way, they can also add your company file to the list of affected users and get an update about the resolution status. You can also provide this investigation number for easy tracking: INV-69394. To reach them, you can follow the steps below:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Click the Help button.
  3. In the QuickBooks Assistance chatbox, select Talk to a human and choose I still need a human.
  4. Select Contact Us.

You may also want to view all your sales transactions. You can go to the Sales menu and select All Sales. This will give you a great view of the status of sales transactions, open invoices, and paid invoices.

Let's be honest QB has no intention of fixing this. They don’t even know what's going on.

If you provide that case number to a rep in a chat window this issue just started in June, when most of us can trace it back to May, April, March even.
I might as well start looking for accounting software. It will take less time and I won’t lose customers or money that way.

You can utilize a 3rd party free invoicing app as a workaround and mirror the invoice data back to QBO for the time being. Otherwise, you should explore another brand and purchase a third party conversion service if needed.

I am bit confused as to why you ask me to check our sales transaction:

 

"You may also want to view all your sales transactions. You can go to the Sales menu and select All Sales. This will give you a great view of the status of sales transactions, open invoices, and paid invoices."

 

everyone in here is talking about a specific issue. What I found out that all the emails that were sent by my team last night were received by clients but it showed as it was bounced at our end and also we did not receive it  because we always cc or bcc all invoices sent to our own email address as well. I am baffled that a company as large as QB is taking this long to fix this issue. Someone needs to reach out to us and not us trying to find solutions and reach out to you!! This is ridiculous.

and in addition, why there is no outbox on QB so we can see what was sent? what was said in the body of that email? and be able to monitor that.

I understand how important it is to deliver those sales forms to your customers. Let's see to it that this is addressed so you may resume your work.

 

I recommend contacting our Support Team so they'll be able to check the issue and, if necessary, alert our engineers.

 

To reach them:

 

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Go Help (?).
  3. In QB Assistant, enter a brief description of your issue or ask a question.
  4. Click on Contact Us.
  5. Choose a way to connect with them:
  • Start a chat with a live support.
  • Call  M-F, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM and S-S, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Please provide a workable solution and not just a copy and paste unrelated text. A company this large is not open to assist people on Saturday's and Sunday's so your guidance was not any use for a paying customer with immediate help needed. I wish your team would address these issues as it seems to be very common and get to the bottom of it rather than adding us to a list of clients affected.

I am honestly baffled at the lack of detailed and knowledgable support from Quickbooks. onetime we would like proper help we and other clients are getting the runaround and tossed around like a pingpong ball being told to do things while Quickbooks needs to do the legwork. Very disappointing to be trusting a company with our essential data and being treated like this.

I am in the United States, and after doing some research it appears that QBO is suppressing the reality of this situation.  Plain and simple, this is a Quickbooks problem.  Not a problem of their users like me that are trying to send invoices to customers, and it's not an issue on our customer's end. 

 

I've found a lot of communication surrounding this issue, and it's an issue on Quickbooks hands.  I use QBO myself, and when I use the ability to send an invoice to a customer from QBO I expect it to work.  I have myself copied on the message, my business partner, and my office manager.  Sometimes I don't receive a copy of the email, sometimes my business partner doesn't, sometimes my office manager doesn't, and after talking with customers, they are are also not receiving invoices.

 

A notice should be sent to all QBO users that this issue exists and a timeline provided of when this will be resolved.  Invoices to customers = accounts receivables that need to be paid as cash flow is paramount in any business.  Cash is king, and QBO support & engineering need to realize that and get with it.  If anything needs to prioritized to resolve it would be this issue.
