My emailed invoices are not being received by my customers

Makes no odds Ashleigh. They never do anything to change the product with what us as customer are requesting. As I've said many times the Feedback process is nothing but a waste of time as we never hear anything back from the suggestion.

You KNOW there are multiple repeat threads asking for the same thing over and over again, and still nothing changes. 

The logo on statements has been going for since 2014. Stupid, plain stupid.

Why on earth has this been marked as solved? It isn't solved and it hasn't been solved despite months of empty promises. Email continue to bounce and customers do not receive invoices or statements. The same copy/paste assurances are insulting, stop lying to us and fix the issue.

Hello Tangonovemeberbravo, we do recognize that is has been going on a while now and that it is not yet resolved, however this is being actively worked on by our engineers and it is a priority

I called Support last week to officially open a case for my company.  I referenced this thread to the support agent I spoke with and she seemed to know exactly what I was talking about.  She didn't need to ask me much more before opening the ticket. I asked if she had any idea of progress and she said the team would be sending an update in the next "couple of days" and confirmed I would get an email as well as see it posted (I assume here). It's been more than a couple of days.  I'm not sure if this is deception or lies, but Intuit really needs to address their customers and the lack of communication.

I appreciate your feedback about the Support team. I would think the same way if this happened to me.

 

For security reasons, I am unable to ask for your account details to check the status of your case since this is a public forum. I recommend contacting the team again so the assisting agent can check your case in a more secure environment.

Thanks JessT.  The questions that come to mind is what everyone else on this thread is asking...

 

What is the current update on this issue?

Why is this taking so long?

What is the current priority/escalation?

 

Being told that the team has been notified, a fix is being worked on, and it is of high priority is not sufficient. Someone of authority needs to step up and address this to the community and the steps being taken. This is not just about a broken function of sending any old email to a customer.  This about sending invoices to customers.  We shouldn't have to remind Intuit/Quickbooks what the consequences are of this issue -  not only is this costing us time, but money - cash flow and the ultimate ability to collect. 

 

I will reach out to the agent with my case number, but this community needs answers, not just me and my company.

I have requested refunds for my clients who are reporting being affected by this issue and Quickbooks has given me a credit note - I will pass on the refund. Suggest you guys also request refunds. the time you are being effectively required to spend checking all invoices to see if they've been received  is unworkable. If a fix doesn't happen within a month, we will have to move software. We cannot keep supply a product that doesn't work.

I just got an email about a the new Quickbooks Advanced  product being rolled out - assume thats what all their engineers have been working on. Maybe they will now be free to fix the products they already have.

That's what I have said in another thread on the issue. Rolling out (probably) unmanted change to menus rather than fix the core problems and missing features which have been endlessly requested for years.

Priority doesn't seem to be in Intuits vocabulary.

now they are even 'inviting' their users to leave Trustpilot reviews as plenty of us a few months back left honest truthful negative reviews due to their inability to provide a functioning service.

 

its the same 'BOT's' that reply across all their media/social platforms. 

 

and 8 months later here we are  ...... shall await the response of our engineers are working on a fix ............................... !!

I am beyond angry this month! 

 

90% of 1000 invoices were not delivered. Here is sit on the 5th manually sending them, with well peeved clients!

 

I AM SO OVER THIS, I don't ever see this getting sorted out.

Likewise equally frustrated by all this. This has been going on about 8 months now?!!!

 

How is it that hard to get your email off a blacklist?!!!

Strange thing is we haven't seen the problem occur for a few weeks.

I do know that QB uses a number of different email servers and it may be that they get different ones removed from blacklists at different times.

Then your all good until the next time it gets blacklisted.

The issue is probably caused by their IP addresses getting blacklisted due to spoofed fake invoices with malware links.

This shouldn't be a big deal getting sorted, amazon obviously gets spoofed a heck of a lot but they don't get blocked.

Its pathetic that they cant get it resolved, if they cant do it after 8 months why would they suddenly be able to.

Marking threads as solved when they are not is also bang out of order!

Why wouldn't they simply allow us to use our own emails like it is on the Desktop version?

I might have to go back to Desktop. I thought the online platform was superior, but this is unreliable and unacceptable.

updates on this? I just spent a ton of time migrating from desktop, only to find out QBO seems to be not very mature at all. I need to make a decision here about going back to desktop ASAP.

You shouldn't do that unless you have a one time license for QB Desktop.

Hello Sytematicnyc, You will not be able to move back to desktop as it is being discontinued next year. You either need to stay with us at QuickBooks Online or move to a different software provider.

Its good to see that QB are actually reading these posts - I wish you could be as quick to deal with the real issue behind the invoices not being received by customers. It is now unbelievable 8 months since we first reported the problem and 4.5 months since QB said it would be fixed by. 

We have c 450 invoices to send next month which will take far longer than they should. Are QB going to compensate us for their failure? 

My money is on that we won't even get a reply to that question.

Well at least it wasn’t one of the bots that replied with a copy and paste answer. 

It’s time management took responsibility for the mess and came out with some answers to their customers. Blatant lying by Intuit is making matters worse.
