When I upload my receipt its says validation failed. I haven’t had this problem before.

Let's walk through a few steps together so you can resume uploading your receipts and tracking your expenses in QuickBooks Online, Steven.

In QuickBooks Online, you have the option to upload receipts to streamline your workflow. Before you upload them, make sure the image is clear and saved in a supported file format. QuickBooks accepts PDF, JPEG, JPG, GIF, and PNG files. If you have HEIC images from a newer iPhone or iPad, you can convert them to a compatible format.

If you've verified that QuickBooks supports the file type but are still facing issues uploading receipts, I suggest troubleshooting to isolate any browser-related problems.

You can begin by accessing your QuickBooks Online company in a private window to allow QuickBooks to start on a clean slate. From there, upload your receipt. If everything works smoothly, I suggest returning to your regular browser to clear its cache. Alternatively, you can use other supported browsers.
