Hi there, AddoDarko. It is my priority to ensure your VAT rate is accurately tracked in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

When adding a VAT rate in QBO, you can select VAT due on sales and other outputs and VAT due in the period on acquisitions of goods made in Northern Ireland from EU Member States in the Show tax amount on return line field. Meanwhile, the Show net amount on return line box shows Net value of sales, Total value of dispatches of goods and related costs (excluding VAT) from Northern Ireland to EU Member States, and Not applicable (N/A).

If the following options aren't showing on your end, I recommend zooming out your screen. It could be the reason why the Not applicable option is only showing. You can also add the rate via other supported browsers (if you're using a mobile device or iPad).

If the issue persists, I suggest sharing a screenshot on this thread. This way, I'll be able to investigate its root cause and provide an additional solution to your concern.

Additionally, I've added these resources to help you submit your VAT return to HMRC using MTD or resolve common issues with MTD:

Please don't hesitate to get back on this thread if you have additional VAT-related questions or concerns. I'll keep an eye on your post to ensure I'll provide the assistance you need.
