Hi! I have waited for weeks now for some sort of help on resolving this problem. I still have no luck connecting. I’ve tried everything and I’m reluctant to upload all my bank transactions, as I have done this before and when my bank (finally) re connected all my transactions were duplicated. Please can some someone help me connect still!
Hi hP96
We have an investigation open for error 103 for Nationwide and our engineers are working on a fix.
I know that you are reluctant in bringing over your transactions via a csv file - please see link with step by step guide as to how to upload the transactions, if you need help in uploading csv file let us know.
Thanks Emma
Just confirming that my account is now back up and running and has automatically pulled through the transactions for the time period it was down.
To anyone else struggling I think its just a case of trying to re-connect again and it should be sorted. All banks have a new security feature which requires open banking to be enabled in order for Quickbooks to communicate with the bank. In fairness I got a detailed email guiding me how to overcome this but my only gripe was that all members should have been informed of this as soon as Quickbooks were aware of the problem.
My current account connects fine but the savings accounts now aren't updating. It worked fine until the 15th...
See the above link, im guessing that savings accounts under Nationwide are not a viable banking feed now but could be wrong. Look under Nationwide on the chart and it only states current accounts and credit cards. Mine are all working because I do not have a savings account suggesting that savings may no longer be supported. Can a Quickbooks team member comment to clarify this as im not 100% sure.
Louis Humphreys is correct, motheroffire.
Savings accounts for Nationwide bank is unable to update using Open Banking since it isn't supported yet. Louis Humphreys attached a helpful article that you can check. It shows our list of supported banks and their account types that can only be updated via Open Banking.
You can reconnect your savings account for Nationwide bank through the standard way and get your up-to-date transactions.

Do I have to delete the bank connection and re-connect every time? I followed the steps in the link and got this message:
"XX is already linked to a bank feed. Select a QuickBooks account without an existing bank connection."
Hi @motheroffire,
This error is referring to the bank account used to connect your online bank. You can only have one connection to a bank account in QuickBooks, so you will need to select a new or different account.
This means that the bank account in question is already connected to a different bank feed. You can either create a new bank account or choose another one already available in your QuickBooks Online company.
You can refer to the image below as an example:
If your bank accounts are set up with a parent and sub-accounts, you can refer to this article for the steps on how to set it up: About bank or credit card sub-account setup.
