Totally agree. QB Online is thoroughly unfit for purpose with these amateurish work arounds.

If you read through the entire thread, you'll see that this has been an issue for more than two years.  Numerous feedback already exists on this issue. Other members of the QB team have indicated that they HAVE already sent it to the developers.  QB online is seriously lacking in user friendliness. You took a great product and made it cumbersome for even the most basic tasks, and illogical in others. Bring back the desktop version and I'll start using it again. Otherwise, I've cancelled the subscription and moved on to a different product.

QBO IS CRAP ONLY THING WORSE IS THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE.  4 YEARS LATER AND STILL NOTHING TO FIX THIS ISSUE.  WHAT A BS COMPANY

It is 2024 and this problem still exists and using the * did nothing to help.

The best resolution for the many functionality shortcomings of QB Online, is move to Zoho Books. Far superior in every way, including lower cost and on-demand support. We've already moved two of our businesses to this platform. One more to go.
