Hi, @neurointegra-gui. I appreciate your interest in establishing payroll for your account. I'm here to help you with the process.

 

You can enable payroll inside your QuickBooks Online (QBO). Here's how:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks as an admin.
  2. Click on Payroll at the left pane, then Choose your plan.
  3. Choose your plan, then click on Subscribe for a paid subscription (Start 1month free trial for a trial account).
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the process.

 

Alternatively, you can subscribe to payroll through the Gear icon.

 

  1. Tap on Account and Settings under Your Company.
  2. Click on Billing & Subscription at the left pane.
  3. Look for QuickBooks Online Payroll, then Learn more.

 

After that, you're now ready to set up your payroll product. These articles will give you a step-by-step guide:

 

 

The Employees tab will be available under Payroll.

I understand the need to get the Payroll subscription working again so you can catch up with paying your employees. With this, I'll lay down solutions to help you isolate this issue.

 

Let’s start by using a private browser to access your QuickBooks account. This doesn't retain local files, so this helps in ruling out the possibility of a webpage issue. Use these keyboard shortcuts based on the browser you're using:

 

  • For Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N

 

If this works, you’ll need to clear the browser's cache. By doing this, it’ll remove the built-up cache in your default browser, so you can start with a clean slate. You can also use other supported browsers as alternatives.

 

If the issue persists, you'll want to contact our Support Team. They can pull up your account in a secure manner and investigate what's causing this behavior. Just make sure to take note of our support hours so we can address your concerns on time.
