Hello jenkimd, Welcome to the Community :waving_hand: We can help submit the FPS? Are you getting any errors when trying to submit it? please let us know and we will assist. We are hoping to have a new connecting for The Cooperative bank in the next coming months so downloading the transactions from the bank will become a thing of the past. Becky
I've been watching the messages appearing here, and I though I should write an update. I gave up: I cancelled my subscription and started managing my tax in a simple Excel spreadsheet. Now I've set this up, I find it doesn't take very long at all to keep it up to date (probably less time than importing/exporting in QB). This costs me nothing, and I'm happy to save the subscription fee now the main selling point of QB has gone (and the time-scale for its return is still "the coming months"). I give my thanks and sympathies to the support staff here: it can't be easy having to relentlessly and cheerfully defend the company you work for and endlessly repeat instructions for a "workaround" that is nothing but a poor stopgap. I know it isn't your personal fault; it's probably a result of a chain of problems elsewhere that was poorly handled. Nonetheless, I'm off.
Hello Monkeyman :waving_hand:, I'm saddened to hear that you have cancelled your subscription, But thank you for choosing QuickBooks to manage your books, just such a shame that it has come to an end. We are working on a connection for the Cooperative but appreciate it is taking longer than expected. Wish you all the best.
I am also at the point of giving up on quickbooks. Its not acceptable to say that you are working on the coop connection and it will come in the coming months. That statement has been on the web site of months. IT projects do not work like that. You must have some idea. We need to plan. Sage would not take this approach. If you cannot give an estimated time scale then I am off to Sage. The CSV upload method is to labour intensive.
I too would like a timeframe for resolving this.
Or at least a commitment to stop charging Co-op customers while QBSE isn't achieving what it is supposed to.
Hello richjmaynard :waving_hand: We don't have a time frame at the moment, We are working on resolving the connection to The Cooperative and it will be available in the next coming months, Appreshaite this is frustrating, You are able to upload the transactions via CSV file upload. I have attached a link that we actively monitor and update to advise when connections will be ready. Thanks
Disapointing that QB, have not resolved this for months, but they Did NOT offer any discount !
just smacks of "up yours"
Hello rhydyfelin-nonpo, Appreshaite your frustration, that is most defiantly not our attitude towards this, We will not offer discounts to bank connections as you're able to upload via CSV, understand having the bank connected is way easier that is why we are spending time in fixing the connection. Thanks
It shouldnt get to a situation whereby it has to be Fixed! : in the meantime the users just have to put up with the extra effort: Terrible service ! But it doesnt affect you!
Hello rhydyfelin-nonpo :waving_hand:, I truly do understand the frustrations this is causing having to upload via CSV when other banks you don't need to, Although it's easy to upload CSV would be nice not to have to do this as its an inconvenience that we're working on resolving :hammer_and_pick:️, Hopefully, it's not too much longer for this to be resolved.
In addition to not connecting to the coop bank it seems quickbooks is unable to handle data from apples numbers .... are you doing anything for your money ? I dont have time to sort this all out .
Well done Im looking into an alternative also .
I have apples numbers [ as opposed to excel ] this doesn't seem to work for quickbooks ?
Hello, @Jimt7.
Let me share some information so you'd be able to import your Apple Pay transactions to our QuickBooks account.
Just to clarify, are you referring to importing your list of invoice payments from Apple Pay to QuickBooks Self-Employed? If so, you'd want to convert the Number file to comma-separated values (CSV) file. You can use any available online file converter. Here's how it should look like:
3 Columns
The 3-column template has columns for the Date, a Description of the transaction, and the amount of the transaction.
4 Columns
The 4-column template has a Date column, a Description column, and both a Credit and a Debit column.
Once completed, you can follow these steps in importing your Apple Pay transactions:

Apologies i got frustrated and went on a rant ! lol , I took your advice and also checked you tube , I found i could convert to csv within apples pages . In hind site I think the issue with the coop bank api lies with the bank and not quickbooks . It is actually quite quick to download the csv from the bank and upload to QB so ill do this until the coop catch up . Thanks for your help .
I received an email from QBO advising the direct feed was updated and to 'dis-connect' the relevant account (Co-op Business) and to then 'Add Account'. My thoughts were fantastic, this very long outstanding 'Open Banking' issue has finally been resolved. Did the 'dis-connect'. Cannot now get the account to connect. Outcome, now unable to even download csv files from the Co-op. REsult: One very peeved QBO customer. About to do some research on over accounting packages ability to handle the current 'Co-Op Business ' connection, whilst I am at it, how easy is to import QBO structure into that accounting package. Like others in this thread, really sick to the back teeth for paying for an aspect of QBO that has been defunct for five months!
Process is :
1. Submit a request on Coop Bank for third party access
2. Coop & QB will "share" some connection data.
3. Coop will then issue a password to the customer
4. Customer reconnects QB to Coop using : Bank ID ; Customer ID & also "new" password
Process will take approx 10 days
I've had it with the coop bank they are in the dark ages .... can anybody suggest a good bank that does link to quick books ... ?
Hi, @Jimt7.
Thanks for joining this conversation. I can share some information about linking banks to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
QBSE supports multiple banks or financial institutions (FI). Though we can't suggest one, you can find the list of all the supported banks on the Banking setup page. Here's how to check it:
If you can't find the specific bank that you'd like to connect or link to QBSE, you can click the Request support for your bank button. Then, enter the bank name and URL. After that, hit Request. You can refer to this article for more information: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking.
To learn more about connecting banks to QBSE, check out this article:

Let me know if you have any follow-up questions. I'll be more than willing to help!
Hello Quickbooks
I have been waiting for this connection to the cooperative bank for nearly two years, having been told that should happen at some point and so paying my subscription. I have not been able to use quickbooks because of this and this year ended up doing my accounts manually. I have continued to pay the subscription fee as I as advised by your customer services so that I could put in a complaint and ask for a refund. I have since tried to complain and have been repeatedly told that I can only complain on line. Please could you direct me to the complaints department so that I can request a refund. This has been going on for a long time and I have not been able to get any help from your customer service line.
thank you
Jenny
Hi there, @Jenny Modus. I hear your sentiments. Let me make it up to you by sharing a couple of details on how to deal with this issue with your refund.
If you bought QuickBooks Desktop or an annual subscription to QuickBooks Online within 60 days of the order date, you are entitled to a refund. For additional information, please see our satisfaction guarantee.
Please note if you bought it from an app store (such as Google Play or Apple's App Shop), you must seek a refund through that store.
You can get a refund by logging into your Intuit account. Here's how:
Once done, you'll no longer be able to use QuickBooks.

Hello Community Users, We're just popping onto this thread to advice The Co-operative banking feed is working smoothly . Any issues we need to be made aware of with the connection please reply on this thread and we'll take a look and get you a resolution ASAP.
We were able to connect to co-operative bank open banking from July 2021 to Dec 2022 without any issues. Suddenly in Dec 2022 we started having issues connecting QBO to Co-op business bank and having to enter login details every time we wanted to refresh the transactions.
We were told to remove the connection and reconnect to Co-op bank but now we cannot reconnect at all and keep receiving error codes 590, 105, (possibly 355, cannot recall). Our IT department cleaned the system of all previous connection settings to ensure we could try a clean QBO to Co-op we still receive the errors and are not able to connect.
We are confident this is a QBO issue because the setup and authentication to the bank itself works ok, it's only when the QBO takes over the connection setup and tries to connect directly to the bank, it produces the error messages.
Is there a known fix for this please?
Hello SSCL, thanks for posting on the Community page, We currently have an investigation on this which I have added you onto. Any updates you will receive and email to inform you. The workaround until resolved is use CSV upload to enter bank transactions.
I am having the same issue and cannot connect to my Co-op Business Account - with the same error messages occurring. What can I do? Thank you
