Before discovering QuickBooks, Jawazim had experience with a range of accounting software, from Tally to more complex ERPs like Odoo, and CargoWise. While these systems were useful, they often came with high investment costs and steep learning curves, making them less suitable for the startups and smaller businesses he serves. Additionally, many businesses still relied on manual records, Excel spreadsheets, or even simple pieces of paper, leading to inefficient and risky operations.
The decision to adopt QuickBooks was driven by its superior features and value proposition. While other solutions were either too costly or too basic, QuickBooks Online provided a perfect balance. Jawazim found that migrating clients’ legacy data from Excel or other systems was straightforward and seamless. This ease of transition was a major factor in his decision.
"In today's era, everything is on the cloud," Jawazim notes. "If the client is educated correctly, they will definitely go for online."
This insight became the cornerstone of his approach, helping clients—some of whom were still using paper records—understand the value of transitioning to a cloud-based solution.
