Hi there, @rachelkellyphoto. I'm determined to ensure you can connect your Tide account.
We can perform basic troubleshooting to isolate the issue. Let's try accessing your account through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:
If everything is fine, clear your browser's cache. This way, you can access QuickBooks with a clean slate. Issues like this can be the result of too much historical data stored in your browser. You can also switch to a different supported browser to see if it has something to do with your browser. Once connected, you can categorise transactions on the list.
Keep me posted should you need further assistance with managing your bank activities. I'm always here to help.
I am having this problem on a daily basis now with banks that were once connected and uploading no problem. I am finding this problem mostly with Envision Credit union. All my other banks seem to disconnect daily and I am able to get them connected again. very frustrating.
I appreciate you chiming in on this thread and posting your concern, @dneilsen71.
I'd also feel the same when my bank gets disconnected daily and suddenly reconnects again. Rest assured, I’m here to help and will address your concern about your bank connection.
There are several possible causes for your QBSE bank accounts to lose connection. Among these are:

hello, i'm trying to ling with fifth third bank and get error (108) when i go to the banks site nothing happens. i dont have pop ups blocked? can you help ?
Hi there, rleick.
Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. Let me discuss some details about error 108. Then, ensure you can perform some troubleshooting steps to link the fifth third bank to QuickBooks Self Employed.
The banking error 108 you received means there's a message from your bank or credit card on their website. Messages, especially ones about updates, can block the connection with QuickBooks.
To fix the said error, I recommend reviewing messages on your bank or credit card's website. This way, you can verify if there are certain actions that need to perform.
Here's how:
Please know that the messages are usually about, new terms of service. Also, announcements about maintenance or other site changes and new offers. Then, in case you don't see notifications when you sign in, you'll need to turn off your web browser's pop-up blocker.
After that, sign back into QuickBooks Self Employed and click the Refresh all button. This allows you to refresh the bank's connection between the bank and our program. Please follow the steps below.
Then, if you didn't see notifications on your bank's website and still see the 108 error, you can reach out to your bank. They have the tools to check your account and verify why you keep receiving the 108 bank error.
Lastly, you may refer to this article to see steps on how you can enter sales income and expenses manually in QBSE: Manually add transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

I just made what you told me to do:
To do so:
I let my number but nobody called. It said I was going to receive a call in 5 minutes, but I didn't.
Hope you can help me with that.
Thank you so much.
It's our priority to ensure you'll be assisted on time, ALEXIA4.
May I know how did you place a callback? Did you dial a phone number?
Our QuickBooks phone support is unavailable in the UK version. It's the reason you didn't receive a callback. I'd recommend using the Message an agent icon to get a representative to help you.
Here's how:
Our messaging supports are available Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday to Sunday from 8:00 AM to 6: 00 PM.
Once connected, you can check out this article to review the transactions and put them on the correct line of your Schedule C: Categorise Bank Data.
Please let us know how it goes. We want to make sure you successfully connect your Bank of America account.
My bank is listed and was previously linked. But it disconnected and will not level get me to the sign in page to link the accounts again.
Hi, @Marincolorist. I got you covered with reconnecting your bank to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
Once your account is disconnected, you'll be able to reconnect it by going through the Profile icon as suggested in the previous replies. Since you can't access the Sign in page to link your account again, I'd recommend performing the process through a private window. This way, you can check browser-related issues while working with QuickBooks.
Here are the keyboard shortcuts:
If it works, clear the cache of your main browser to remove browser history. If the issue persists, I'd suggest using another supported browser to narrow down the result. You can also share the name of your financial institution so we can look into this further.
For more tips about reconnecting an account to QuickBooks, open these articles:
Once your account gets connected, the system will download your transactions automatically. All you need to do is to review and categorise them.

Let me share some information about connecting a bank in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
To refresh the connection between your financial institutions and QBSE, try clicking Refresh All multiple times on your Banking page. After that, reconnect your bank account.
We can perform basic troubleshooting to isolate the issue. Let's try accessing your account through an incognito window to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue. You can refer to these shortcut keys to open an incognito window in all supported browsers:

Having real issues connecting my account to Quickbooks & no one can seem to help. It is pretty useless to me at the moment. Tried using Chrome, cleared the cache - checked with HSBC and they have no issues their end. It just doesn't want to pull through the information for some reason. Is it possible to talk to a human being rather than via chat / email as it is just a complete waste of time. Weeks are now going by, and I am paying for a system that I cannot use. I don't want to have to upload a .csv file with my bank transactions as I might as well just use Excel
Hello, Arwel2000.
Thank you for joining here and sharing your experiences. Unfortunately, QuickBooks phone support is unavailable in the UK version. The only way to reach out to our representative is by using the Message an agent icon.
In the meantime, you'll have to manually add transactions using CSV file. To know more about it, please refer to this article: Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Then, you can now review and categorise them.
On the other hand, for more details on handling your account, feel free to use our Community Help articles. Just select a topic that you need help with.

Help, please - Using QBO and no luck linking business checking account. I get error code 106, it also tells me to double check the info entered to make sure they get the right form. What form? Ive called my bank and used QBO screen share to help fix this, but no one knows what is going wrong. I was able to manually enter my bank info for Payments and Intuit made 3 small deposits which I entered in QBO to verify account, but it tells me to finish setup by linking my bank account. My bank says they can see QBO trying to link on their end, but QBO says error 106 every time.
Hi
I'm here to share some troubleshooting steps to fix the error you received.
Banking error 106 means QuickBooks is unable to locate your account on your bank or financial institution's website. Let's ensure to log into your bank account outside of QuickBooks Self-Employed.
If you did not close your bank or FI account, contact our QuickBooks Support team so we can investigate the issue.
Once everything's good, you can check this article as your guide in linking your bank account: Connect your bank feeds using Open Banking.
You can always get back to this thread whenever you have questions about bank feeds.
I did make sure I can use my FI login credentials outside of QBO and I am able to login to my account successfully. I also copied the URL to my FI. I have also already spoken to several QB Support reps and none of them have been able to help me. They are not sure what the problem is. They told me to contact my FI, which I have. They said they can see QB accessing my account. Not sure why QBO is saying it appears my account is closed when QB is accessing it. QB made 3 small deposits to my account to verify it, so I know QB is making contact with my FI and my bank account. I’ve cleared my cache/cookies/browsing and tried to link account but no success. Seems as though linking bank accounts is a problem on Quickbooks end. This is a top complaint from your users. Being able to link your bank account with QB is hit or miss. I think if I pay for a service/feature that service/feature should work to it’s full potential. I do not want to manually enter my bank info/transactions every day.
Hello there, @lap0124.
I heard you prefer not to enter banking transactions manually. I'm here to help and provide solutions to the error you encounter in the Banking section.
Also, may I know your financial institution? This way, I can verify if there is an ongoing investigation specific to your bank.
We aim for efficiency in all that we do. However, there is always a risk that the bank is undergoing maintenance or experiencing a glitch. Our internet banking service functions normally.
For now, we can manually upload transactions while searching and investigating further for the issue. See the full details for your guide: Manually enter payroll paychecks in QuickBooks Online.
I'll add this page below to give you more insights on fixing banking errors in QBO: What to do if bank transactions won’t download or there's a bank error.
If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our Technical Support team to go to your account and double-check everything. Our phone representatives have tools that can access your account to reinvestigate the issue and can provide fixes immediately.
Keep me posted should you need further assistance with managing your bank activities. Happy to support you.
I've been reminded to reconnect quickbooks to our bank every 90 days. I have tried 3 times to do this but our bank transactions have not been added to quickbooks since 3rd November. The bank rep says its not their problem. What can I do?
We can perform some steps to verify if this is just triggered by your financial institution, or in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), Andrewswap22.
May I know what's your bank provider? This way we can better isolate if there's an issue with your bank. There are a few reasons why bank transactions are not downloaded into QBSE. Among these are:
To resolve this, just press Refresh All multiple times on your Banking page to refresh the connection between your bank and QBSE. Then, connect your bank account again. If the same thing happens, sign in to your account using a private or incognito window. This helps us confirm browser-related issues since this mode doesn't use the existing cache data. Here's how:
If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to delete those temporarily stored files and browsing history. Removing this should fix the issue since the overtime collection of data can create corruption. We can also use supported, up-to-date browsers to roll out the possibility of a browser-related issue.
If the problem persists, just manually import your bank transactions using.CSV file. You can get this file from your bank's website. Let me show you how:
For more details about this one, see the Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed article. Then, categorize and edit your transactions after. Once done, please contact our QBSE Customer Support Team. They'll pull up your account in a secure environment and investigate what's causing this banking error.
Feel free to visit our Banking page for more insights about managing your bank transactions.
You can always go back to this post if you need a hand with creating bank rules or any QBSE related. I'll be here to ensure your success. You have a good one.
1. When I can get into my account I cannot access the banking button. it is blocked by other options I cannot find how to clear.
2. Bank data was downloaded intermittently.
3. Recent attempts have failed intermittently,
4. Bank will load for the past 18 months if I can learn how to reach it through Quickbooks..
