Starting this November, AI Agents are coming to QuickBooks. It’s best-in-class technology that can handle everything from repetitive tasks to complex workflows, all while maintaining your full control. Leveraging agentic AI means spending less time chasing numbers and more time developing your business.
In QuickBooks, this technology comes to life in the form of our brand new Intuit AI agents. These agents are like your new digital teammates who work behind the scenes to make suggestions and keep things moving, all under your control. They’ll be embedded in QuickBooks, and each agent will handle tasks related to a specific area of business.
The AI agents will bring intelligent automation to the QuickBooks features you know and love. They work primarily behind the scenes, but you’ll see a summary of their work in your business feed. You’ll be able to review and approve what they’ve done, and see actionable insights to inform next steps. The AI agents are built to complement your expertise so you can get more done.
With a reimagined interface, QuickBooks will make it easier than ever to get work done and have full line-of-sight into your business in a single comprehensive view.
Powered by AI and connected data, the new interface will be like a control centre for everything business related. The place where you can review work that’s been completed for you by AI, see what’s in progress, highlight trends and anomalies, gain proactive insights to inform next steps. All in a way that’s clear, customisable, and keeps you in the driver’s seat.
Business feed: You’ll see a summary of what’s been done for you by AI and automation features so you can review and approve the work quickly—and get back to high priority work. It will also help optimise your marketing efforts by combining data from Mailchimp and QuickBooks.
Improved insights and reporting: A customisable performance dashboard will track your business’ financial health and highlight what needs your attention most. AI-powered insight will detect new trends or anomalies in your business—and what's driving them—so you don't have to spend time digging through transactions or analysing reports. Plus, stay on top of business health with P&L and balance sheet insights.
Smart search: You’ll be able to quickly find transactions, customers, accounts, reports, help, and more with consolidated results from across the platform in the new unified search.
Built-in collaboration: New chat features let you and your team talk and work together in QuickBooks. This will make it easier to move projects forward and get work done faster.
Doing more in a single solution makes life easier. With the new dedicated customer hub, we’re adding a brand new area of functionality to QuickBooks. Here, you’ll be able to organise, track, view, and connect with customers and leads all in one place. The customer hub will make it easier to spot new opportunities, foster leads, re-engage current customers, and ultimately close more sales.
Integrated scheduling - Skip the back-and-forth between other apps and allow customers and leads to schedule phone or video meetings right in QuickBooks.
Track leads - Stay focused on the right opportunities and track leads and their status in the sales cycle, from first contact to repeat business.
Centralised customer info - Easily prioritise your work with task sorting by project, customer, or due date to keep you organised for next steps. Keep customer info, notes, and to-dos organised and accessible.
Manage contracts and signatures - Send and store contracts with e-signatures so you can stay organised and get deals done faster.

Starting August 2025
Later this month, the new user interface will start to be rolled out to customers and you’ll have the option of joining the early access programme through the settings gear icon in your QuickBooks account. This is your chance to get a first taste of QuickBooks on the Intuit platform. We encourage you to opt into early access so you can start to get familiar with the new look and feel.
November 2025
We’ll begin to roll out the full experience to QuickBooks customers. This will include more functionality than you’ll have during early access. This is when you’ll get to experience AI agents, integrated customer hub, and fully connected data and insights.
We’re excited to bring you along on the journey to evolve QuickBooks into a more powerful business solution that will better support your goals. We’re here to help you through this change, and make sure these innovations add value to your business.
