London, UK - 7 February 2022
Intuit QuickBooks, a leading financial management software provider, and OnPoint Accounting Group, a collection of client-first practices have today announced a new strategic partnership. The partnership will focus on enhancing both firms’ product offering and vision to support start-ups, freelancers and small businesses, supporting them on their journey with greater financial insights and understanding to help them succeed.
OnPoint Accounting Group has selected QuickBooks’ suite of leading financial tools to improve service quality, increase efficiency and reduce costs, providing clients with a clear and focused financial picture in real-time. This will allow the clients of OnPoint Accounting Group Practices to access QuickBooks’ suite of financial tools, educating businesses and enabling them to have a hands-on approach to their finances.
The combination of resources and software will eliminate complex financial and administrative processes and allow start-ups to focus on making important and informed business decisions, while enhancing their growth and prosperity - all through greater insights and understanding of their businesses’ financial position. QuickBooks’ priority is to offer a first-class combination of business services, providing key business analysis, interpretation, and advice to their clients.
For the OnPoint Accounting Group, this collaboration will support its various practices in Scotland and across the UK who are united in their mission to deliver a client-centric approach. It will also enhance its offer of around-the-clock support to alleviate client concerns around daily business finances, payments and advice through a technology-driven financial solution that enables small businesses to thrive.
This will also complement OnPoint’s current offerings, giving access to QuickBooks’ strong accountancy software competencies. QuickBooks will focus its efforts on providing the technology and tools to support OnPoint and its clients, bringing their financials into focus in real-time with ease.
Nick Williams, Director of Sales at Intuit QuickBooks UK, comments: “We welcome this new collaboration with OnPoint Accounting Group and are delighted to announce this agreement which follows a number of strategic announcements that we have made this year. Investing in the future and growth of small businesses is at the heart of our business, and we are delighted to partner with OnPoint who share our ethos on making a difference.
We believe in today’s climate there has never been a more important time for increased collaboration with organisations that are supporting start-ups. We are delighted to be able to offer the right tools to our clients to give them the insights to take on every day with total confidence, the foresight to stay one step ahead and the power to be more successful.”
Johann Goree, Managing Director at OnPoint Accounting Group, comments: “Helping small businesses to thrive is at the core of what our Practices do, both individually and as a group. Being a QuickBooks Strategic Partner will enable us to further facilitate the growth and success of our clients and Practices. One of our main areas of focus over the last 18 months has been supporting small businesses and the next generation of start-ups, not just to survive but to thrive throughout this pandemic. We’ve done everything possible in our work to reflect the ethos of our company by offering support, guidance and advice wherever possible - often free of charge - to a plethora of small businesses, helping steer them through a difficult time.
QuickBooks provides the perfect digital tools for a new generation of digitally savvy young business owners to be able to embrace accounting software right from the very beginning of their journey, and for it to become a core part of their business long-term. It provides incredibly powerful insights that allow small businesses, with our guidance, to make informed strategic decisions to establish and grow their business. Our Practices have always strived to work with businesses early on and to be a key partner in their growth and success. Partnering with QuickBooks will make us even better equipped to do this.”
