I can understand the client's concern with regards to their payment method that is registered under their QuickBooks Online account. I would be happy to provide some insight here!
Once the client transfers the billing to the accounting firm, they will no longer have access to their billing and subscription page. Although their payment method will remain on file, no charges will be applied. However, should it be decided, that the billing is transferred back to the client, their account will fall inactive until they login and update their billing information on their account.
