How to Change the time zone the app thinks i'm in?

Hello there gordon-pdqokanag,

Thanks for choosing QuickBooks Self-Employed to manage your books! I'm glad to see you're taking advantage of the mobile app option for working on the go, and I know how important it is for the app to line up with the times and dates you're working in. I'm here to help.

QuickBooks Self-Employed's app is a streamlined tool to keep things simple. Part of that simplicity is that the app works with time zones and dates based on your device's settings. This means, whenever you create an invoice or other type of transaction, the app should default the created date to whatever date your device is set to and showing.

If that's not the date you're seeing, changing the date shown is simple. On the invoice, click where the date is displayed and you should be able to change it to whatever you'd like. This article can help if you're not sure the steps to take: Create invoices in QuickBooks Self-Employed. Give it a try!

I also recommend checking your device's settings to make sure that you have the correct time zone set up for it. The steps to do that are different depending on the device you're using, so I recommend looking up resources for your device to learn how to verify those settings.

Wishing you the best!
