I've upgraded to TurboTax Self-Employed and tried to access the free Quickbooks Self-Employed; however, the screen comes up as blank.

Hi there,

Running your small business means that using helpful tools like TurboTax and QuickBooks Self-Employed will help save you time and effort with your bookkeeping tasks. I know how important it is to have access to QuickBooks so you can complete your work. I'd be happy to point you in the right direction for help with this.

If you're trying to access QuickBooks Self-Employed via a browser, try some basic troubleshooting steps to ensure this issue isn't browser-related. Try clearing the cache and cookies in your web browser by following the steps here: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online. These are stored Internet files that build up over time and they can bog you down or create errors.

If the issue persists, try using an Incognito window in Google Chrome. This is a private browsing mode that operates separately from the main browser, and it doesn't get impacted by stored cache and cookies. Here's more information about that and how to use it: Browse in Private. You should also try using multiple different browsers.

Next, make sure you're signing in using the right web portal. Here's the login page specifically for Self-Employed accounts: https://ca.selfemployed.intuit.com/login

If you're still experiencing issues, I'd encourage you to reach out to our designated Self-Employed team. These agents are the experts in the Self-Employed version of QuickBooks, and I'm confident they'll get you back on track in no time.

Have a great day.
