My Apple ID subscriptions claims I am subscribed to Quickbooks Self employed however I can't access the app of online, how do I fix that?

Hello millersfarmhouse,

 

It's great that you've subscribed to QuickBooks Self-Employed, but what's even more important is that you have access to the program so that you can take advantage of all its awesome features. The app is a fantastic add on to using the program in your computer's internet browser. I want to walk through how you should sign in to use your subscription.

 

The first step is to ensure that you're attempting to log in to the correct app. QuickBooks Self-Employed is a different program from QuickBooks Online, so please make sure that you've downloaded the QuickBooks Self-Employed app from the app store. You won't be able to use the same login credentials to access QuickBooks Online. Since you've subscribed through the app store, it's likely that you used the same email address you use for Apple, to create your Self-Employed account. Begin within using that email address and take a shot at the password. If you guess wrong, there'll be a prompt that'll allow you to reset your password. Once you've done that, you should be able to get in fairly easily.

 

It may be easier to attempt to access the account from the internet browser on your computer, in which case you'll want to navigate to QBO.ca and choose QuickBooks Self-Employed from the Sign in dropdown in the upper right corner. Once you've successfully gained access in the browser, it's just a matter of using the same username and password combination to gain access to the app.
